Further to below, Elegant Resort has made addition changes to their renovations timelines and added new closure.
The House
Phase 1 - The House is on track, re-opening on December 16, 2023.
Phase 2, will begin on July 1st, 2024 (hotel closed), and reopening as an Autograph Collection hotel on Oct 15/24.
WAVES - The adults only side require additional work, therefore closure has been extend to May 30/24
Please note that the resort will be preforming ongoing room upgrades, restaurant enhancements, and public area transformations, beginning on September 1st 2023. The adults-only section will fully reopen on January 31, 2024, with completely renovated guestrooms and bathroom. Guestrooms on the beach side will undergo soft refurbishments from April 1, 2024 - June 30, 2024 (with the closure of approximately 20 rooms). The hotel will remain open during this time. Once all room renovations have been completed, the hotel will be rebranded as an Autograph Collection Hotel. The restaurant on the adult side will also close during this time.
The hotel has no affilation with any watersports activities that are not offered in the complimentary watersports package (the Watersports Package) The hotel shall not be held liable if a guest purchases or uses any watersports activity other than those included in the Watersports Package, such purchase or usage is strickly between the guest and the vendor and will be at the sole risk of the guest.
Please note that the local Barbados room levy fees will be charged and collected by the hotel locally by cash or credit card.
A mandatory deposit minimum deposit will be $10.00 per night, with a maximum amount of $100.00 per night, payable by cash, credit card or traveler cheques. Deposit will be refunded in full at time of departure or used to cover the cost of any incidental charges to the room.
Smoking is not allowed in any guestroom and should be restricted to the allocated area only. Should the client choose to smoke in the guestroom, a cleaning charge of US $200.00 will be applied to their bill.
Guests staying at Waves Hotel & Spa by Elegant Hotels will have access to restaurants at Crystal Cove Crystal Cove (hotel is closed from February 1, 2025 -January 1, 2026), Tamarind by Elegant Hotels, (hotel is closed from July 15, 2024 - September 15, 2025).
Any child under the age of 16 years must occupy a room with a parent or guardian.
