Grenada has exciting activities for all, including Sun Hunters’ dune buggy and jeep tours that will take you off the beaten path through tropical forests, beaches, verdant hills, and more.
A must for thrill-seekers, the high wire eco-adventure at the Seven Sisters Falls will send you soaring with ziplining and obstacle courses through the rainforest canopy.
3. Festival season
In August, the streets are filled with vibrant crowds, island music, and an explosion of colour during Grenada’s biggest festival, Spicemas, which includes the spectacular lights of Monday Night Mas, the unique tradition that is Jab Jab and the fancy costumes of Pretty Mas.
Join in the festivities for an experience unlike any other, or indulge your sweet tooth at the Grenada Chocolate Festival in late spring.
In April, say thanks at the Carriacou Maroon and String band Music Festival, a traditional Caribbean celebration offering thanks for the harvest.
4. Romance all around
The beautiful coral reefs and clear waters of Carriacou and Petite Martinique make snorkelling with your significant other an unforgettable date.

5. Dive right in
Dive into the calm turquoise waters of Grand Anse Beach, Magazine and Bathway, a few of the best beaches in Grenada, where you can spend hours walking on the soft white sand.

Experience a new take on diving at the Molinere Underwater Sculpture Park, located off Grenada’s west coast, and filled with art installations shaped out of concrete and rebar.
6. Ocean playground
January and February call for setting sail! It kicks off with the Spice Island Billfish Tournament, a premier sports event and three-day fishing competition.
End of January brings the Grenada Sailing Week, luring sailors from all over to Grenada for sailing races and parties.
February’s Grenada Sailing Festival Workboat Regatta, features days of races using working fishing boats.
7. Capital culture
Learn about the island’s past in the capital of St. George’s. Check out the cannons of Fort George that defended the island since it was founded by the French in the 18th century. You’ll get a great view from the city from its fortified walls!
Another fantastically preserved fort is Fort Frederick, also built by the French a few centuries after Fort George. Its location in the centre of the capital offers incomparable panoramic views of the city.
