Day 1
Welcome to Cartagena
Daytime flight to Rafael Núñez International Airport.
Upon arrival, you will need to clear customs and immigration. Afterward, proceed to collect your luggage and proceed to the exit, where a local representative will be waiting for you, holding a sign with your name. They will assist you with your transfer to your hotel to check in.
The rest of the day is at your leisure.
Day 2
Cartagena de Indias
After breakfast, meet your private driver in the lobby of your hotel, who will take you on an exciting journey into the heart of Colombia’s coffee culture with the immersive Coffee Masters Experience, a must for true coffee enthusiasts. Guided by a passionate expert, you’ll be welcomed into a world of rich aromas, deep flavours and centuries-old traditions, where every bean tells a story.
Afterwards, your transfer will take you back to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

You'll be welcomed by a local coffee expert whose passion for Colombia’s coffee legacy has transformed this small space into a temple of flavour and tradition. With their guidance, you explore the secrets behind roasting levels, brewing techniques and all the fascinating variables that shape every cup’s aroma, texture and taste. Through hands-on demonstrations, you witness the transformation of green beans into golden elixirs.
This is an experience for true coffee lovers and curious minds alike, a chance to slow down, connect with the roots of Colombian identity and enjoy a ritual that’s been perfected over generations.

Cartagena de Indias – Santa Marta – El Zaino
After an early breakfast and check-out, your private transfer will take you on a scenic *4.5-hour coastal drive to Santa Marta, “The Gateway to Tayrona,” where a half-day city tour awaits. Enjoy a captivating journey through the vibrant streets of Santa Marta. Discover the rich history and cultural significance of this coastal gem, guided by a knowledgeable local expert who will illuminate every step of your adventure.

Half-day city tour
Your first stop is Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino, a historic site of great significance as the final resting place of Simón Bolívar.
Next, enjoy a brief stop at the Eduardo Santos Soccer Stadium, where you'll find an impressive sculpture dedicated to Colombia’s football legend, Carlos "El Pibe" Valderrama.
Continue to Santa Marta’s Historic Centre, where you’ll visit the city’s iconic Cathedral. At the Gold Museum, explore the fascinating world of the Tayrona culture and admire intricate artifacts that shed light on the rich heritage of this ancient civilization.
Before concluding your tour, head up to the Taganga Lookout, where you’ll be treated to a breathtaking panoramic view of Taganga and the sparkling Caribbean Sea.

El Zaino – Tayrona National Park – El Zaino
After an early breakfast, embark on an unforgettable full-day trek through the breathtaking landscapes of Tayrona National Park, a true gem among Colombia's natural wonders. Famed for its turquoise waters, golden beaches and lush rainforest trails, this iconic park offers a unique blend of natural beauty and cultural heritage that promises an experience like no other.
Note: Remember to bring plenty of water, sunscreen and comfortable hiking shoes for this adventure.

Trek to Cabo San Juan tour
Begin your adventure at the Zaino entrance of Tayrona National Natural Park. From there, set out on a moderate hike through lush rainforest, where you'll encounter a rich variety of flora and fauna. After approximately 2 hours and covering 5.6 kilometres, you’ll arrive at Piscinita, a peaceful cove with crystal-clear waters, ideal for a refreshing swim and a relaxing break.
Continue your trek along a scenic coastal path toward Cabo San Juan, one of the park’s most iconic spots. Along the way, enjoy spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea, dramatic cliffs and pristine stretches of sand. Once you reach Cabo San Juan, you’ll have time to take in the stunning landscape and explore the nearby Playa La Piscina, a more secluded beach area.
You’ll return along the same trail, offering a fresh perspective on the park’s natural beauty. The total hiking time for this round-trip adventure is typically 5 to 6 hours (about 12 km), depending on your pace and how much time you spend enjoying Piscinita and Cabo San Juan.

Half-day city tour with San Felipe Castle
The tour begins at San Felipe Castle, a Spanish-built fortress atop a hill designed to control the bay, an impressive site both architecturally and historically. From there, enjoy a guided walk through Cartagena de Indias’ historic centre, starting at the Clock Tower in Plaza de la Aduana and continuing to the square in front of San Pedro Claver Church, known for its religious art and history, where you’ll pause for a refreshing juice or coffee. Next, visit Plaza de Bolívar, surrounded by some of the city's most iconic buildings, before heading to the 17th-century Monastery of La Popa for panoramic views from Cartagena de Indias’ highest point. Exit through the Clock Tower and pass Centenario Park, a downtown oasis home to sloths, marmosets and iguanas. The tour concludes on foot in the vibrant neighbourhood of Getsemaní, alive with graffiti, flowers, colourful houses and music.
Note: Please note that the vehicle will only be available for 1.5 hours while we visit Castillo de San Felipe. Transport back to the hotel is not included as the tour ends on foot in the historic centre.
