Day 1
Depart Canada
Overnight flight to Rio de Janeiro.
Day 2
Welcome to Rio de Janeiro
Upon arrival at Rio de Janeiro/Galeão – Antônio Carlos Jobim International Airport, clear customs and immigration and continue to collect your luggage. Proceed to the exit, where a dedicated driver will welcome you with an Air Canada Vacations sign with your name on it and take you to your hotel to check in. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure.
Overnight stay in Rio de Janeiro.
Day 3
Rio de Janeiro
After breakfast, a local guide will meet you in the hotel lobby for an exciting 6-hour* city tour featuring a visit to Corcovado Mountain and the iconic Christ the Redeemer. Lunch is included and will be served at an authentic Brazilian restaurant.

After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel to enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

City Tour, featuring Corcovado Mountain and Christ the Redeemer
Explore iconic landmarks, wander through historic neighbourhoods, marvel at the stunning architecture and soak in the lively energy of Rio’s streets. From the bustling markets to sun-soaked beaches, every corner of this dynamic city offers a new adventure. The city tour will end at Corcovado Train Station, where you will embark on an exciting adventure up Corcovado Mountain. A specially designed train will take you from the foot of the mountain along a winding road through the magical Tijuca rainforest, where you will see some of the enchanting tropical wildlife on constant display in Rio, such as toucans, monkeys and armadillos. At the summit of Corcovado, 700m above sea level, proudly stands the iconic 38m high statue of Christ the Redeemer. As you approach the statue, immerse yourself in the stunning panoramic view of the city.

Rio de Janeiro
After breakfast, your adventure continues with an exhilarating *6-hour tour of the iconic Sugarloaf Mountain, with lunch included! Start with a scenic cable car ride to Urca Mountain, the midway point between ground level and Sugarloaf. Here, you’ll have lunch before continuing your ascent to the breathtaking summit of Sugarloaf Mountain

Rio de Janeiro – Iranduba
After breakfast and checking out, your dedicated driver will take you to Rio de Janeiro International Airport for your flight to Manaus, the Gateway to the Amazon.
Upon arrival at Manaus Eduardo Gomes International Airport, a local guide will greet you with an Air Canada Vacations sign with your name and either take you to the port for an optional Amazon Experience tour ($) or to your lodge for check-in.
Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 6
Iranduba
After breakfast, embark on a journey of discovery, starting with an exciting jungle walk, followed by a visit to Caboclos House, where you'll experience a local family’s lifestyle. After this insightful visit, return to the lodge for lunch.
After, continue your cultural immersion with a visit to Acajatuba Village. Then, you'll be transferred back to the lodge for a farewell dinner.
Following dinner, prepare for an exciting nocturnal walk along the river's edge. The rest of the evening is yours to enjoy at your leisure.

Journey of discovery tour
Start your adventure with a jungle walk through lush vegetation on your way to visit a local family known as “Caboclo house” and learn about the preparation of manioc, or cassava flour. Visit Acajatuba Village, which survives on manioc plantations, fishing, rubber, Brazil nut trees and diverse fruits like tucumã, cupuaçu and açai palm trees. During your stay, you’ll also learn how they produce crafts with natural products from the jungle. This fantastic cultural immersion adventure will conclude with a nocturnal walk along the river's edge with searchlights to help you see caimans, nighthawks, snakes and frogs.

Iranduba - Salvador

Half-day city tour
This guided tour will take you to the mouth of the expansive bay, navigating through elegant tree-lined avenues and bustling city streets until you reach Pelourinho, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the largest complex of Portuguese-era architecture in South America.
Next, we'll head to Municipal Square, where you can marvel at the towering Lacerda Elevator, offering stunning views of the bay and the lower city. As we stroll through the narrow, vibrant streets adorned with pastel-coloured buildings from a bygone era, you'll soak in the sights and sounds that define this lively city. No tour is complete without a visit to the Church of São Francisco, renowned for its opulent gold-leafed Baroque interior, and the charming Pelourinho Square, the heart of the old town.
