Day 1
Depart Canada
Depart on your overnight flight to Rio de Janeiro.
Day 2
Welcome to Rio de Janeiro
Upon arrival at Rio de Janeiro/Galeão – Antônio Carlos Jobim International Airport, clear customs and immigration and continue to collect your luggage. Proceed to the exit, where a dedicated driver will welcome you with an Air Canada Vacations sign with your name on it and take you to your hotel to check in. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Stay overnight in Rio de Janeiro.
Day 3
Rio de Janeiro
After breakfast, embark on an adventure to the world-famous Christ the Redeemer statue atop Corcovado Mountain. This private guided tour offers breathtaking views of Rio de Janeiro as you ascend, with panoramic vistas of Guanabara Bay, Copacabana, and Sugarloaf Mountain unfolding below you. Spend time marveling at this iconic landmark, standing tall at 30 meters, and soaking in the beauty of the city from above.
Afterwards, you will be transferred back to your hotel. Spend the rest of the evening at leisure.

Christ the Redeemer and Corcovado Mountain tour
A specially designed train will take you from the foot of the mountain along a winding road through the magical Tijuca rainforest where you will see some of the enchanting tropical wildlife on constant display in Rio, such as toucans, monkeys and armadillos. At the summit of Corcovado, 700m above sea level, proudly stands the iconic 38m high statue of Christ the Redeemer. As you approach the statue, immerse yourself in the stunning panoramic view of the city.

Day 4
Rio de Janeiro
After breakfast, your journey continues with an exhilarating private tour. First stop, the iconic Sugarloaf Mountain. Begin your adventure with a scenic cable car ride to Urca Mountain, the midway point between ground level and Sugarloaf. Here, you can enjoy a refreshing drink ($) and sample some signature Brazilian dishes ($) before continuing your exciting ascent to the summit of Sugarloaf.
After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel. Spend the rest of the evening at your leisure.

Rio de Janeiro – Iranduba
After breakfast and check out, your dedicated driver will take you to Rio de Janeiro International Airport for your flight to the Gateway to the Amazon, Manaus!
Upon arrival at Manaus Eduardo Gomes International Airport, a dedicated driver will greet you with an Air Canada Vacations sign with your name and take you to your lodge in the Amazon for check-in.
Enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure, with the freedom to spend the evening as you wish.
Choose one of the following complimentary activities offered at the lodge:

Visit to a local caboclo house (house of a local family)
Fishing
After completing your chosen activity, you will be transferred back to the lodge. The rest of the evening is yours to enjoy at leisure.

Evening motorboat jungle ride
Depart the lodge on paddle or motor canoes to listen to the sounds of the jungle at night, with the possibility of spotting alligators and other creatures. Carrying a flashlight, alligators are easily spotted—two shining red lights among the foliage. Once the guide spots an alligator, they will try to catch a small one with their bare hands, bringing the animal on board for a brief explanation of the habitat of this primeval animal, hunting methods and the animal itself. After a brief stay on board including photos (no flash photography), the alligator is safely released to its habitat. (Animals are handled with care, and guides cause no harm to the animals). *Duration: 1 hour

Visit to a Coboclo house (house of a local family):
Depart the lodge on boat or motor canoe and visit a local family, called the “caboclos”, to learn about their traditions and customs and the rich history of the Amazon, the rubber cycle, and much more. During the visit you will see how cassava meal is prepared and how they smoke the extracted rubber sap. *Duration: 1 hour.

A non-professional fishing activity. Depending on the season, you may catch the elusive piranha that subtly nibbles your bait or other species. The guide shows some of the piranha’s tricks and explains how to catch them. *Duration: 40 minutes to 1 hour. Please note that this activity is for non-professional anglers.

After breakfast, you’ll have the chance to choose up to two activities for today’s adventure. Choose wisely and enjoy the journey.

Iranduba – Foz do Iguaçu
After breakfast and checkout, your dedicated driver will take you on a scenic 2.5-hour* drive to Manaus International Airport for your flight to Foz do Iguaçu International Airport.
Upon arrival, a dedicated driver will greet you holding an Air Canada Vacations sign with your name on it and take you to your hotel to check-in. Rest of the day at leisure.

Afterward, you will be transferred to Foz do Iguaçu International Airport to catch your flight to Rio de Janeiro/Galeão – Antônio Carlos Jobim International Airport. From there, you will transfer to take your flight back to Canada.
