Depart Canada
Depart on your overnight flight to Rio de Janeiro.
Day 2
Welcome to Rio de Janeiro
Upon arrival at Rio de Janeiro/Galeão – Antônio Carlos Jobim International Airport, clear customs and immigration and continue to collect your luggage. Proceed to the exit, where a dedicated driver will welcome you with an Air Canada Vacations sign with your name on it and take you to your hotel to check-in. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 3
Rio de Janeiro
After breakfast, your journey continues with an exhilarating half-day city tour featuring the iconic Sugarloaf Mountain. After descending the mountain by cable car, your driver will take you on a guided cultural stroll through Rio’s historic Old Town, immersing you in the city's rich heritage.
Afterwards, you will be transferred back to your hotel to enjoy the rest of the evening at your leisure.

Half-day city tour featuring Corcovado Mountain and Christ the Redeemer
Explore iconic landmarks, wander through historic neighbourhoods, marvel at the stunning architecture and soak in the lively energy of Rio’s streets. The city tour will end at the Corcovado Train Station, where you will embark on an exciting adventure up to Corcovado Mountain. A specially designed train will take you from the foot of the mountain along a winding road through the magical Tijuca rainforest, where you will see some of the enchanting tropical wildlife on constant display in Rio, such as toucans, monkeys and armadillos. At the summit of Corcovado, 700m above sea level, proudly stands the iconic image seen around the world, a 38m high statue of Christ the Redeemer. From this vantage point, you will be awestruck by the stunning panoramic view of the city.

Immerse yourself in the vibrant rhythms of Rio de Janeiro on a leisurely day of exploration! Stroll through the colourful streets of Santa Teresa, where art and history blend on every corner. Sip refreshing coconut water on Ipanema Beach, feeling the warm sand beneath your toes. Dive into the local culinary scene with a lunch of feijoada at a traditional restaurant, and later, wander through the lively markets, browsing for unique souvenirs. As the sun begins to set, find a cozy spot at a beach bar and enjoy the stunning views while savouring a caipirinha or simply join an optional activity ($).
