Itinerary

Day 1

Welcome to Siem Reap

Upon arrival to Singapore Changi Airport, you will be required to clear customs and immigration. Then proceed to collect your luggage and exit to continue to check-in for your connecting flight to “the Gateway to Angkor Wat”, Siem Reap!

Upon arrival, proceed through customs and immigration. Then proceed to the exit where a local representative will greet you with a sign bearing your name. They will escort you to your hotel transfer. Check in and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2

Siem Reap

After breakfast, meet your tour guide in the hotel lobby and set off on an exciting day of cultural exploration, visiting the most iconic landmarks of this ancient city.

Lunch will be at a local restaurant ($) before continuing your cultural exploration. Afterwards, you will be transferred back to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

    Depart to visit Angkor Wat temple, the largest temple in the world, with a volume of stone equaling that of the Cheops pyramid in Egypt. Next, visit the ancient city of Angkor Thom, the last capital of the Khmer Empire. Enter through the South Gate, adorned with carved elephants and giant faces, with rows of gods and demons holding the sacred Naga snake. 

    Next, visit the Bayon Temple, known for its 54 towers with enigmatic faces representing the Khmer Empire's provinces. Explore the Terrace of the Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King, famous for their detailed bas-reliefs.

Day 3

Siem Reap

After breakfast, meet your tour guide in the hotel lobby to embark on an exciting day of temple exploration and cultural discovery.

Lunch will be at a local restaurant ($) before continuing your journey of discovery. Afterwards, you will be transferred back to your hotel, with the rest of the day free for relaxation.

    Visit Banteay Srei, the citadel of women - a tiny, enchanting temple, which is one of the jewels in this remarkable city. If time permits, a stop at a local community along the way may be possible; the guide will facilitate interaction with the locals, offering a deeper insight into their lifestyle. Continue to Banteay Samre, a Hindu temple in the Angkor Wat style. It is named after the Samré, an ancient people of Indochina.Next stop, a visit to Ta Prohm, the temple that has been left largely in its natural state since its “re-discovery” by French explorers. It is one of the largest temples at Angkor. Last stop, a visit of Ta Keo, Thommanon and ChauSay Thevoda temples.

Day 4

Siem Reap – Phnom Penh

After breakfast and check-out, spend your final day in Siem Reap immersing yourself in the vibrant charm of this ancient city with an exciting city tour.

Afterwards, your transfer will take you to Siem Reap International Airport to catch your flight to “the Pearl of Asia”, Phnom Penh!

Upon arrival, collect your luggage and head to the exit where a local representative will greet you with a sign bearing your name. They will escort you to your hotel transfer. Check in and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

    Start the tour with a visit to Theam's House, a Cambodian artist and designer who draws on inspiration from both Khmer and contemporary international design. Explore the art studio and observe various works being created such as lacquer ware, painting and fine sculptures. Continue to Artisans Angkor, a Cambodian company which was originally created to help young rural people find work near their home village. Lastly, visit to the local market of Siem Reap, The Old Market (Phsar Chas), a very popular traditional Cambodian market in Siem Reap. The Old Market offers the largest selection of souvenirs.

Day 5

Phnom Penh

After breakfast, meet your tour guide in the hotel lobby and set off on an exciting full-day city tour to explore the highlights of this magnificent city.

    Begin with a visit to the Royal Palace, which serves as the residence of the King! Continue towards the Silver Pagoda (Wat Preah Keo Morokat) located within the Royal Palace compound, the Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5,000 silver tiles. Next, depart to visit the Toul Sleng Genocide Museum (S-21), a former high school.  In the Pol Pot time, it was used as a prison. Continue with a visit to the Killing Fields, the site of mass graves during the Khmer Rouge regime and now home to a memorial honouring the dead. Note: audio guide is not included. If time permits, visit the Russian Market (Toul Tompong Market). There are several jewellers and gold-sellers.

Day 6

Phnom Penh - Kampot

After a leisurely breakfast and check-out, meet your driver in the lobby of the hotel to embark on a scenic 3-hour drive towards “the Land of Pepper”, Kampot!

Upon arrival at your hotel in Kampot, check-in and spend the rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 7

Kampot

After breakfast, meet your local tour guide and embark on a full-day city tour of “the Pepper Capital of Cambodia”, Kampot!

Afterwards, you will be transferred back to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

    Start this journey with a visit to Kep and its long-standing crab market. Next head to visit to a local pepper farm; Kampot Pepper became one of the essential elements of a French kitchen.  After lunch ($), visit the salt fields, where you will take in the vastness of the marsh land, as it meets the sea. Here you will experience the life of a salt field worker as they comb the land to create the delicate crystals.

Day 8

Kampot - Sihanoukville

After breakfast and check-out, meet your driver, who will take you on a 3-hour scenic drive towards “the Beach Capital of Cambodia”, Sihanoukville!

Upon arrival at your hotel, proceed to check-in and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Sihanoukville

Take in the serene coastal vibes of Sihanoukville with a day at leisure. Let the rhythm of this enchanting seaside town guide you, whether you seek relaxation, exploration, or simply a moment to soak in the tranquil beauty of your surroundings. This is your time to unwind and embrace the effortless charm of Cambodia’s idyllic shores.

Sihanoukville - Singapore

After breakfast, your private driver will take you to Phnom Penh International Airport for your flight to “the Garden City”, Singapore.

Upon arrival, proceed through customs and immigration. Then collect your luggage and head to the exit, where a local representative will greet you with a sign bearing your name. They will escort you to your hotel transfer. Check in and spend the rest of the day is at leisure.

Singapore - Canada

After breakfast, your private driver will take you to Singapore International airport for your flight back to Canada.

Children under 12 are not allowed to climb this tower. It will be closed on the Buddhist Sabbath Days, the Buddhist religious days and four days a month in accordance with the Lunar Calendar.
