There is something impossibly elegant about a city that still throws lavish balls. This is Vienna, the City of Music, defined by a refined heritage and imperial past. Here, a European dynasty ruled from an imposing palace, Mozart and Beethoven composed their masterpieces, and Sigmund Freud idled in coffee houses. Be dazzled by the many museums, and wind down at rustic restaurants serving up hearty Austrian dishes.
